Create Your Style

Fashion is what you buy but style is how you wear it. Each one of us has our very own unique sense of style. However, most women don’t always choose to embrace it.
Today, I’m calling you to embrace and accept all of you. That means every inch of beauty, height, width, weight, curve, bump, lump, scar, shape, color, stretch mark, wrinkle, dimple and smile. I think you get it.(smiles)
Walls: Remove the walls. Walls are created/formed as a result of hurt or pain. Work on removing and eliminating walls that you have created in your life via hurt, pain, disappointment, abuse, tragedy, divorce, death, unforgiveness, anger, bullied, taken advantage of, shame, abandonment, embarrassments, bad deals, short end of the stick, estranged relationships, adultery ,betrayals, distrust of women and if it’s not listed _____ _____fill in the blanks.
Inspiration: What inspires you? Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
Detox: Detox you and your closet. Detox is to rid the body of toxins or substances that are unhealthy. Detox your closet by separating clothes that you are wearing from those that you are not wearing. Favorites to least favorites, too small(goal clothes) and haven’t worn in 6 months or less. Create piles: Donate, Sell, Swap and Trash.
Organize: Where do I start? Start by separating your clothing according to lifestyle, recreation, exercise, weekend, color, type of clothing, seasonal etc.
Shopping: Clothing shopping. Shop with you in mind. Shop for what you like not what you think other’s will like you in. Be daring with trying on different types of clothing, styles and colors. Being comfortable in your clothing doesn’t mean frumpy. Comfort means the fit is flattering to your shape, you have movement, structure and lays well.
Size: Does your size matter? Your size doesn’t matter when it comes to showing your style. What matters most is that you accept all of who you are at this very moment which will translate confidence to others.
