As the curtain draws back and you find yourself on this center stage called life what do you do? If your an entrepreneur you stay ready because it can become your turn at any moment. You may think that I'm talking about acting and I'm far from talking about acting. I'm talking about BRANDING. As an entrepreneur believe it or not you are a BRAND. As a BRAND you rep your vision and company 24/7. Guess what? Your audience is always waiting for the next new item, idea or experience from you. They are also looking to see how you show up on stage. Are you ready? Do you have the tools you need to show up and be successful? Are you making an impact on your audience? This is what you want to do as a brand isn't it? So, let me ask you again are you making an impact on your audience? Are you giving them the experience that they can't refuse to pay for. If no, why not? Remember, your brand just isn't exclusively your logo or your store website(store front window). It's your authenticity, personality, story, products, customer service, reputation, image, marketing, live streams-content, consistency and influence that shows other's who you really are.
In my business there are always a few things that I like to have all my clients start and stop.
(5) Branding Strategies to Start:
Focus: Make sure you stay focus on the things that will increase brand visibility and growth.
Clarity: Be clear on what your goals are and vision. It's time to become single focused and work on that one thing and excel in it.
Asthetics: You and your brand are synonymous. Function right now the way you see your brand in the future.
Consistency: Repetition is your friend. Don't quit!!
Team Building: Hire a team to help make you shine.
(5) Branding Pitfalls to Stop
Fear: Afraid to take risks.
Comparison: Stop comparing your business to those around you. Be You!!!
I Syndrome: I can do it by myself. I don't need anyone to help me build my brand.
Debt: Stop putting your brand in debt to make money. Yes, it takes money to make money but that's called "investing."
Inconsistent: Showing up at your convenience not your clients.
