Have you ever booked a trip and didn't know what to pack? Of course, you have who haven't. What to pack, what is the weather, what will you be doing and of course who will you be seeing? I know, I know if your anything like me once you know that a trip is insute my mind immediately goes to wardrobe, style, colors, fabrics and venue. I'm usually the girl that packs way before my last deposit is due well not quite that early but you get the point.

This trip was actually a lot different in how I usually prepare. First, I didn't start to pack until 2 days before the trip. My mind was perplexed about keeping the weight of my suitcase below 50 pounds.(Smiles) Amidst, knowing that I would be on a cruise ship leaving from Miami(palm trees-80 degree weather) going into the Bahamian tropics along with turquoise water and native cuisine I was at a lost.

This trip wasn't easy to pack for because I knew I couldn't take my entire closet with me and I knew there would be dining, shows, retreating, swimming and lot's of fun in the sun on the telitto deck along with plenty of selfies.

Based on my own experience, articles and observing other's this is what I will share on what you can consider packing for a cruise to a Bahamian Retreat.

*Pack light fabrics that are able to be folded and will still hold their shape and wrinkle free(roll vs fold)

* Pack articles of clothing that are weather appropiate( Bahamian, Tropic etc)

*Pack colorful pieces, patterns and floral prints (light & flowy)

*Pack a fancy outfit for the "Captains Ball" (dress to impress)

*Pack 2 outfit changes per day for a complete wardrobe selection (needful)

*Pack 2 bathingsuits and coverups (1, 2 or 3 piece fashionable bathingsuits)

*Pack 2-3 pairs of "hot" swanky sunglasses (serving slayage)

*Pack sunscreen (spf 30)

*Pack breathable sleepwear-night shirts, short sets etc (appropiate)

*Pack waterproof iPhone or Galaxy Phone Case(needful)

*Pack thong sandals, flip flops, heels, semi heels and converses, for walking or entertainment(bendable footwear)

*Pack Passport, US State Identification, credit card, visa debit card and cash (make 2 copies of id)

*Carry all your credit cards and state identification in a metal protective wallet. This will help against theft(skimming protection)

Lastly, make sure you don't overpack or overthink this process. Most of all be creative, adventurous and a little daring with your styling selection for a cruise or any trip that you may be taking.
